A stressful couple of years resulted in a huge weight gain, which then knocked my self-confidence. I found it hard to go to the gym, feeling embarrassed and ashamed of myself, I was stuck in a rut and couldn’t see a way out. That was until I started training sessions with Dom, I felt very at ease with him straight away, and over a couple of months my love for exercise began to kick in again. My sessions with Dom increased to twice weekly, and it has been great learning how to exercise outdoor’s and away from the mundane routine of going to the gym.

Dom’s sessions are always different and varied, with a good mix of everything from cardio to weights, from core to boxing. His motivation has kept me going over the past year. He has helped me lose 20kgs and has raised my energy and fitness levels immensely. I have never been able to run, and in one of our early sessions I stopped 3 times running 1 lap around the oval, out of breath and exhausted. I can now run 4 km with ease for a warm up before doing a workout session! This for me, has been a very big achievement and one that I would never have been able to have done without the dedication and hard work from my trainer.

Not only does Dom train well, he also takes an interest my diet and nutrition, and exercise that I do away from his sessions, he has devised several workout plans for me to do in my own time, or that I can take away with me when I travel or have to be away with work. I could never have lost this weight and gained back my self- confidence without Dom, and cannot recommend him highly enough for whatever your needs may be. He is a top trainer with great energy and enthusiasm, and a very professional work ethic.

Dominic trained me in preparation of the Miss Universe Australia National Finals to ensure I looked and felt the best possible for the final rounds. He gave me an intense program to stick to in the few vital weeks before competition which included frequent training on most days of the week. My program incorporated lots of light weights and high repetition work - this meant I never felt fatigued during training but was gaining optimal results for toning my body. This was particularly important as I had a very busy scheduling leading up to the finals in Sydney and needed to feel energised after a workout, not tired and exhausted.
 
Dominic's personality and optimistic approach to training makes it an enjoyable experience. I always look forward to training as I know my body is getting a great workout and always enjoy my sessions due to the variation that Dominic comes up with.
 
I believe the sort of training Dominic provides is hard to find because not all personal trainers are enthusiastic about their job or the clients they work with. I, however, am always full of energy and look forward to training because I know my trainer is just as focused as I am on achieving the best results for me.
 
With consistent training from DS Fitness I felt fit, healthy and toned at the Miss Universe Australia Finals and continue to train with Dominic to ensure I remain feeling confident about my body.

Dom Svarc has trained me for 12 months.  He has been an absolute fantastic addition to my training regime.  He’s helped me condition myself for running and inspired me to pursue a half marathon, which I never dreamed of doing! Since training with Dom my strength gains, flexibility and core strength have increased dramatically. My diet has also improved, with Dom giving me sound advice on good eating habits. He has also enhanced my mental strength a great deal, which is extremely important to me, as I like to train hard every session and get the most out of it both mentally and physically.
I train with Dom twice a week, and he plans different workouts for me every time.  His variation with exercise is fantastic! I have higher energy levels, which has increased my motivation to ‘better’ myself. My Aerobic fitness has also improved dramatically, which again has been thanks to Dom.

I highly recommend Dom Svarc. He’s an inspiration and an excellent trainer!

JORDY POLLARD

Dom has helped me thoroughly to get my body right for elite football at TAC cup level at Sandringham Dragons. I’ve always had a solid build but still struggled to cut it on the field. I had trouble with my hips and running technique that really affected my game. Dom helped me rebuild my body, focusing on football specific programs that made me much stronger throughout the hips and core which really helped me with my game.

An important thing for me was not to get any bigger, so we worked hard on strength and power work to keep my current size but become much stronger. Dom also kept my program exciting with variations that kept me interested and motivated. He also told me why we were doing certain exercises, which is important for me as I always want to know there’s a purpose for every exercise. His knowledge is great!
Thanks to Dom my performance and fitness on the field has improved dramatically and I have more confidence in myself and in my body to hold up during a game.

I highly recommend Dom to anyone pursuing a sporting goal or general goals in fitness. He is an extremely motivated trainer who will push you to be your best!
